Rust 2K was re-established in February 2026 by original Rust 2K players: Slim Plumber, Thesto, and Xtinkt, after the original Rust 2K (previously owned by saW) closed in August 2025.

The original Rust 2K built a strong community where players made friends, rivals, and long-term memories while enjoying true vanilla Rust gameplay. Our goal is to continue that legacy; while introducing a tighter, more competitive experience with a 2Kish-sized map.

Rust 2K is committed to providing a fair, competitive, and community-driven vanilla Rust experience.
